Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, MA, seeks a Senior Director, Talent Strategies & Workforce Planning. You will lead the Talent Strategy Partner team, partnering with deans and administrators to align talent and inclusion initiatives with institutional strategy, workforce planning, and change management across a large, unionized university.

Reporting to the VP CHRO, you will coach TSPs, oversee portfolio departments, and drive consistent policy interpretation, labor relations

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in HR, org development, business admin, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee and labor relations.
• At least five years of people leadership or team management experience.
• Executive-level experience advising senior leaders on risk and conflict navigation.
• Strong knowledge of workforce planning, employee relations, and labor laws, with CBAs experience.
• Ability to lead strategic HR partnerships in a complex, unionized environment.

Mansioni

• Serve as a senior advisor to assigned deans, department heads, and admin leaders, aligning IT solutions with institutional strategy.
• Develop and execute Talent & Inclusion strategic plans for assigned departments with focus on talent acquisition, retention, and leadership development.
• Lead, coach, and develop TSPs and a Talent Specialist, setting priorities and performance goals.
• Oversee governance of policies, collective bargaining agreements, and labor relations guidance.
• Build strong relationships with leaders, managers, faculty, and staff across the university.
