Job summary

United Infrastructure Group seeks a Strategic & Commercial Supply Chain Lead to develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies across assigned spend categories for the UK infrastructure portfolio. You will own the supply chain strategy, drive total cost optimization, and align with governance across procurement activities.

You will lead competitive sourcing, vendor onboarding, and commercial negotiations, working with cross-functional teams to ensure operational delivery and bid win

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing within construction or infrastructure
• Degree in supply chain, business, or related field
• Procurement certification preferred but not essential
• Strong commercial acumen with track record of cost reductions
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements long-term category strategies based on spend and business priorities
• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes (RFIs, PQQs, RFPs, ITTs)
• Negotiate high-value framework agreements and SLAs
• Partner with Operations, Commercial and Estimating to align supply chain and bids
• Monitor supplier KPIs and drive efficiencies and risk management
