Job summary

Commercial is seeking a Purchasing & Sourcing Manager to lead the Purchasing Administration and Procurement Specialists teams, driving strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and efficient processes across categories. You will align customer requirements with supplier capabilities, uphold service standards and KPIs, and promote data-driven procurement discipline.

• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and judgement.
• Ability to translate customer requirements and supplier perspectives.
• Experience with ERP systems and data accuracy.
• CIPS Level 4 qualification (or exceptional equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the Purchasing Administration and Procurement Specialists teams.
• Set service standards, KPIs and SLAs.
• Lead supplier negotiations and challenge pricing, lead times, service levels and terms.
• Coach Procurement Specialists on high-value opportunities.
• Maintain ERP-system discipline and data accuracy.
• Direct sourcing across PPE & Workwear, Facilities, Retail Equipment and other categories.
• Develop procurement strategies aligning with customer demand and growth.
• Source and manage suppliers to ensure quality, availability and total cost.
• Monitor market trends and supplier capability to identify risks.
• Support internal pricing teams with responsive service.
• Review and improve procurement processes and policies.
• Hold regular supplier account reviews and address performance.
• Stay composed in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
