JBAndrews is working with a leading global provider of specialist Supply Chain Solutions across multiple customer sectors. This specific business unit provides Supply Chain & Order Management solutions. Currently, the company is focusing on the national development of solutions in the Retail, Fashion, Consumer, Technology, & Industrial verticals.

The Role:
  1. Due to planned growth, the business requires an experienced Strategic Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to support the sales department and drive growth in the refreshed Sales function, focusing on all-sized accounts across the mentioned verticals.
  2. Targeting new procedures & solutions within the specific target verticals and industries, utilizing high-level relationships to establish structures that secure sales growth and align the business with strategic goals.
  3. Fostering new relationships, making final decisions on account retention, collaborating with vertical and project teams on cost-cutting exercises, and generating new business at corporate, local, and international levels.
  4. This position will focus on Contract Logistics and coordinate closely with solutions design and operations departments.
The Requirements:
  1. The candidate should have a background in Supply Chain Solutions with senior sales and commercial experience to control the National Sales function, with a strong technical understanding.
  2. At least 7 years of experience in 3PL, consistently meeting sales targets and managing logistical aspects for local, domestic, and multinational organizations.
  3. Strong leadership skills demonstrated through prior international experience are highly desirable.
  4. Experience managing small to large customer accounts, with team responsibility at some stage.
  5. Grassroots experience in logistics across various disciplines and locations is highly beneficial.
  6. The ideal candidate will be based in the UK.
