Job summary

Westcoast Limited in Reading invites an experienced Retail Account Manager to join our team, working with major retail brands to grow revenue and ensure product availability. You will analyse stock, coordinate promotions, and build strong relationships with key partners such as The Very Group and AO Group.

You’ll attend vendor and customer meetings, develop reporting tools, and drive profitable growth across a portfolio of brands while thriving in a fast-paced IT distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Background in retail account management, retail category management or FMCG account management essential.
• Ideally experience with The Very Group, AO Group or dropship accounts.
• Good understanding of supply chain & logistics in a retail environment.
• Commercially minded with excellent communication skills.
• Analytical — able to spot trends and make stock recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ideally, full driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with appropriate vendor/retail contacts.
• Contribute to retailer/vendor meetings.
• Monitor weekly stock and sales.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools to track and enhance inventory flow.
• Maximise profitability.
• Manage, implement, and analyse all promotional activity.
• Manage delivery of predefined performance KPIs with retail accounts and adjust as required.
• Coordinate setup of new products and price updates for existing products.
• Launch new ranges ensuring 100% product availability.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
