Job summary

Pertemps Aylesbury Commercial, on behalf of Buckinghamshire Council, is seeking a Resourcing Lead in Aylesbury. This full-time, 3-month contract offers hybrid working, immediate start, and an hourly rate of £26.48 PAYE, with a 37-hour week.

You will lead end-to-end recruitment across council services, collaborate with hiring managers, and drive workforce planning and recruitment improvements in the public sector.

Qualifications

• Significant recruitment experience within a large or complex organisation.
• Knowledge of recruitment legislation, policy and best practice.
• Experience within the public sector and familiarity with systems such as Service Now and Talent Link would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end recruitment activity across multiple service areas.
• Providing expert recruitment advice and guidance to stakeholders.
• Developing innovative attraction and retention strategies.
• Supporting hard-to-fill and senior recruitment campaigns.
• Conducting market mapping and candidate engagement activity.
• Leading on process improvements and recruitment best practice.
• Building strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation.
• Supporting KPI delivery including vacancy fill rates and time to hire.
