Job summary

Adecco Public Sector in the Midlands is recruiting an experienced People Business Partner to work with senior leaders across the organisation, shaping people strategies and delivering HR solutions that align with business goals. The role is hybrid, based in Wolverhampton, on a 6-month contract with a daily rate of £300-£330.

You will partner with Directors, lead on change, use workforce analytics, and build strong relationships with Trade Unions to support the council's People Strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven HR business partnering experience within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders.
• Data-driven approach using HR analytics and metrics.
• Solid knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Experience in public sector or unionised environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic people plans with Directors and leaders.
• Lead on organisational change, restructures, and employee relations matters.
• Use workforce data and analytics to influence decisions and drive performance.
• Coach and influence senior leaders on people management best practices.
• Support employee engagement and the delivery of the organisation's People Strategy.
• Build relationships with Trade Unions and support consultation processes.
• Lead and manage a team of HR professionals delivering high-quality service.
