Roke is seeking a Resource Manager to lead the allocation and utilization of engineering resources across projects, ensuring the right people with the right skills are deployed on time. You will partner with project managers and department heads, balance demand with capacity, and drive data-driven decision making to improve delivery.

The role focuses on strategic planning, performance reporting, and close collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in resource management, workforce planning, or operations management.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to analyse data and produce meaningful insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience using resource planning tools (e.g., MS Project, ProFinda, Retain, Excel).
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in National Security or Defence Sector.
• Resourcing Management within Technology organisation or Professional Services consultancy.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
• Experience with workforce analytics or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Understanding of HR processes including recruitment and talent planning.

Responsabilidades

• Resource Planning & Allocation: Develop and maintain resource plans aligned to priorities and allocate staff to projects based on skills and availability.
• Workforce Management: Monitor capacity, utilisation, and productivity; identify gaps and support recruitment planning.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with project managers and senior leadership to understand resourcing needs and provide guidance.
• Performance & Reporting: Track key metrics and drive improvements; standardise resource planning practices across teams.
