Job summary

The University of St Andrews, within the School of Psychology & Neuroscience, invites applications for a Lead Research and Impact Administrator. You will work closely with the DoR and DoII to support research and impact operations across the School, including reporting, PURE administration, and grant workflow management.

Based in the School Office, you will also help with finance, teaching and events, and contribute to a welcoming front-of-house service for staff, students and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Good general education including English and Mathematics with recent administrative experience in an office environment.
  • Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills.
  • Ideally an administration or IT qualification and experience in a research-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pro-active administrative support for research and impact across the School.
  • Prepare reports and act as PURE administrator / assist with PURE profiles.
  • Support recording and reporting on research and impact activities, finance and emails.
  • Lead on administration of the Worktribe grant approval system and advise grant applicants.
  • Contribute to REF-related administration and School submissions.
  • Provide front-of-house reception support and assist with finance, teaching and events as needed.
