Job summary

STRI is seeking a Research Operations Manager to strengthen the operational leadership of its Research & Development function. This role will become the backbone of the research department, bringing structure, visibility, and accountability across research, laboratory, grounds and consultancy activities.

You will lead planning, quality standards and delivery, coordinating research projects, client engagements and team development in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing research projects and client relationships.
• Proven ability to lead operations in a research or CRO environment.
• Strong planning, communication and quality standards.
• Ability to build scalable, high-performing research operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple research projects and client relationships simultaneously.
• Monitor project progress against milestones and deadlines.
• Identify delivery risks early and implement mitigation plans.
• Support planning across short, medium and long-term research programmes.
• Improve project tracking, reporting and operational visibility.
• Strengthen quality assurance processes and audit readiness.
