Job summary

DCS Recruitment seeks a Quantity Surveyor to oversee commercial activities on multiple projects from award to final account. The role includes advising estimating and business development teams, plus coordinating project delivery and site activities.

The successful candidate will manage valuations, variations, sub-contracts and cost reporting, ensuring contract compliance and timely payments. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial management across multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions.
• Ability to prepare, submit and agree valuations and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Review contract terms and provide commercial advice to facilitate resolution.
• Provide ongoing commercial and contractual guidance through project life cycle.
• Attend pre- and post-contract meetings and liaise with clients and teams.
• Value and agree instructions and variations with the client.
• Prepare cost reports and monitor cash flow and CVR.
• Draft sub-contracts and manage sub-contractor payments and accounts.
• Ensure commercial processes are followed across the business.
