Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Experience of 3+ years in Quantity Surveying or similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, cost management and procurement.
• Experience with valuations, variations, tenders and subcontractor accounts.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and commercial skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and financial forecasts for construction projects.
• Manage project costs, valuations, variations, and payment applications.
• Prepare and review tenders, quotations and subcontractor packages.
• Support procurement and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Administer contracts and manage commercial risks and variations.
• Prepare regular cost and commercial reports for project management.
• Review progress against budgets and timelines.
• Maintain accurate commercial documentation and records.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
