Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a well‑established, North West England based main contractor. You will report to the Commercial Director and work with operations and technical teams to secure successful commercial outcomes on education, health and commercial projects.

The role focuses on managing commercial and contractual requirements across schemes via strong cost control, contract administration and monthly cost reporting, with site visits from an office base.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor on JCT contracts.
• Strong financial and contractual knowledge.
• IT literate and able to work office-based with site visits.

Responsibilities

• Undertake all commercial and contractual requirements on designated projects in line with company procedures.
• Ensure sound financial performance including profitability, cash flow, and risk management.
• Prepare accurate monthly cost reports in collaboration with the Commercial Manager.
• Apply Main Contract and Sub-Contract Forms and Standard Method of Measurement.
