Job summary

John Sisk & Son is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial reactive works team in Bristol. You will support the operational side to secure successful delivery of Framework contracts while managing client relationships and project risk.

You will implement commercial strategy, control costs, forecast outcomes and produce timely cost reports. Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential to drive margins and value.

Qualifications

• Organised, innovative Quantity Surveyor with project experience.
• Experience collating costs and maximising value.
• Experience in financial and commercial control within projects.
• Experience procuring and managing supply chain.
• Working towards professional accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Implement commercial strategy and ensure project profitability.
• Produce accurate cost forecasts and manage budget deviations.
• Maintain contract cost reporting and track budget/tender allowances.
• Manage subcontract tender process and subcontract accounts.
• Provide monthly cost and value reporting in line with company processes.
