Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd in the West of England is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial reactive and minor works team, helping deliver the Framework contract and manage risk. The role offers exposure to tendering, valuations, monthly applications and project delivery within a forming framework.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying (completed or currently undertaking).
• CVR appreciation.
• Presentation & communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist QS in tender preparation, measuring and packaging.
• Prepare variations, valuations and final accounts.
• Carry out site measurements and attend site meetings.
• Support the implementation of the commercial strategy for the portfolio.
• Maintain site records and control documents; measure progress on site.
• Prepare applications for payment and consider risk & opportunity.
• Assist with CVR and commercial reporting as capability develops.
