Job summary

John Sisk & Son (Sisk Group) is a family-owned construction business with a global reach. As a Quantity Surveyor in the commercial reactive works team, you will help deliver projects and manage profitability, cost reporting and client relations to maximise value.

You will support the commercial strategy, forecast costs, monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments and variations, while building relationships with subcontractors and internal teams within a challenging rail/Framework environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of collating costs and maximising value.
• Experience of procuring and managing supply chain.
• Experience as QS supporting financial and commercial control.
• Experience with preparing quotations and payment applications.

Responsibilities

• Implement commercial strategy and maximise margins.
• Be accountable for project profitability and develop commercial strategy.
• Maintain contract cost reporting with budget/tender allowances.
• Provide forecasts of project cost to completion and final value.
• Monitor cash flow and valuation, manage WIP and variations.
• Ensure variations are identified, valued and turned into orders.
• Manage subcontract tender process and documentation.
• Provide monthly cost/value reporting.
