Job summary

Parico is seeking a Central Government Business Development Director to drive growth across UK public sector customers from its Farnborough base. The role requires robust relationship building, opportunity identification, and end-to-end deal shaping, with travel to client and partner premises.

The successful candidate will lead BD activities within UK Central Government, engage cross-functional teams, and help Parico strengthen its position as a trusted technology partner to public sector

Qualifications

• Extensive BD experience within Central Government or similar environments.
• Established network of senior leaders and decision-makers in UK Central Government.
• Proven ability to identify, shape and convert new business opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to hold UK Security Clearance (SC).
• Hold a UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a credible pipeline to achieve in-year order commitments and future growth.
• Leverage relationships to identify opportunities, secure targets, and support growth objectives.
• Lead opportunities through qualification and contract award within Parico.
• Develop offerings to maximise customer outcomes while protecting IP and competitive position.
• Forecast and manage opportunities using CRM tools.
• Generate new business through an established network with strong conversion rates.
• Win business within UK Central Government leveraging relationships.
