Job summary

Varnom & Ross Ltd. is seeking a Property Asset Manager to own day-to-day operations across a commercial property portfolio in Scotland, Edinburgh or Glasgow. The role focuses on strong client and occupier relationships, service delivery, compliance and commercial performance.

The position offers site-based leadership to influence asset strategy, enhance occupier experience and ensure properties are managed to the highest standards. Salary is up to £48k with car/bonus/benefits, level dependent.

Qualifications

• Commercial property management experience.
• Strong understanding of building operations and service charges.
• Knowledge of lease matters and health & safety.
• Familiarity with RICS standards.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted client relationships and support asset strategies.
• Maintain a visible on-site presence and enhance occupier engagement.
• Oversee service charge budgets, financial reporting, credit control and supplier payments.
• Manage inspections, maintenance, contractors and service partners.
• Support lease matters, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Assist ESG/sustainability initiatives and reporting.
• Coordinate property works and support acquisitions/disposals.
