Varnom & Ross Ltd is seeking a Senior Surveyor to take day-to-day ownership for a portfolio of commercial properties in London. This client-facing role requires an organised, commercially minded professional who delivers high standards and excellent service across the portfolio.

You will manage and report on properties, service delivery, occupier relationships, service charge budgets and compliance, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to drive value and ensure client

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial property management or surveying.
• Ability to interpret leases and related documentation.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients/stakeholders.
• Proactive, collaborative approach to property portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Read, review and interpret leases and related property documentation to ensure occupiers meet obligations.
• Monitor compliance, audits, assessments and specialist advice where required.
• Coordinate with service partners to maintain control documentation and logbooks.
• Prepare and present client and management reports (monthly, quarterly, ad hoc).
• Assist with service charge budgets and analyse monthly expenditures and year-end accounts.
• Inspect allocated properties to monitor condition and occupier compliance.
• Collaborate with site teams to audit property condition and service standards.
• Lead and develop team members, promoting collaboration and high performance.
• Build strong relationships with occupiers to improve customer experience and retention.
