Job summary

ScottishPower is seeking a Strategic Project Director to lead a major portfolio of property and security projects across the UK. The role oversees 10 new builds, 26 refurbishments, and 46 BAU projects with ambitious investment targets.

You will provide executive-level direction, manage a team of 100+ staff, ensure health and safety, governance, and regulatory compliance while delivering value across SPUK operations.

Qualifications

• MBA required or equivalent business qualification.
• Proven track record leading large capital programmes.
• Strong leadership of 100+ staff and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of the Corporate Services portfolio of strategic projects with £100M+ annual capex.
• Manage P&L for the project portfolio and maximise returns on investments.
• Provide direction to a high-performing team of 100+ staff across engineering, construction, PM, and commercial functions.
• Deliver security solutions adhering to NIS, regulatory and best practice standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain robust governance across all projects.
