Job summary

Freightliner Group Ltd is seeking a Project Director to lead a portfolio of projects across Commercial, Operational and Technology Enhancement domains. You will manage a three-person Continuous Improvement team, drive efficiency, and ensure successful delivery with measurable benefits.

The role requires strong project management discipline, practical operational understanding, and the ability to influence stakeholders to achieve strategic business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong project management experience from initiation through delivery and benefits realisation.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organisation.
• Ability to balance governance with operational realities.
• Experience in delivering change and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver projects across Commercial, Operations, Technology Enhancements and Engineering within defined objectives, timescales and budgets.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans with milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinate resources with functional leaders to secure expertise and support.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Provide regular project reporting to sponsors and senior management.
• Facilitate governance activities including steering groups and project boards.
• Ensure projects deliver measurable business benefits and align with strategic objectives.
• Drive change management and adoption of deliverables across Freightliner.
• Collaborate across departments to drive sustainable improvements and efficiency.
