Job summary

Freightliner is seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead a portfolio of initiatives spanning Commercial, Operations, Technology Enhancements and Continuous Improvement. You will manage a small team and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver measurable benefits and sustainable change.

The role requires strong project governance, practical operational understanding and the ability to drive efficiency and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering large-scale projects end-to-end.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple functions.
• Strong use of formal project management methods and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver projects across Commercial, Operations, Technology Enhancements, Engineering and Support Functions.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans with milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
• Coordinate resources and secure expertise within the business for project delivery.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Provide regular project reporting to sponsors and senior management.
• Drive change management and adoption of new ways of working across Freightliner.
• Lead, develop and motivate the Continuous Improvement team (three direct reports).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver measurable business benefits and align with strategic objectives.
