Job summary

The Project is seeking a Project Accountant to lead the finance function for its project portfolio in the UK. You will partner with the business, establish robust project finance processes, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and reporting, and support the rollout of the Workday Project module.

UK-based role requiring qualified accountant status (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in project accounting and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with Project Accounting experience.
• Experience with system implementations, especially Project Management systems.
• Good experience of monthly reporting and performance analysis as well as budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Project Management financial control and reporting - including budgeting, forecasting, and capitalisation
• Delivery of training, user guides and business acceptance of Project Financial processes
• Establish the framework for determining the requirements, capturing the data and supporting the claim process for R&D tax credits in the UK
• Working alongside Tax, optimise the tax efficiency of projects, globally
• The design and business implementation of the Workday Project module
