Job summary

AES in Hereford is seeking an experienced Production Planner to optimise manufacturing schedules, improve throughput and support on-time delivery in a high-visibility role.

You will coordinate with Production, Procurement and Customer Service to maximise resource utilisation, reduce delays and drive continuous improvement across operations. This role offers real impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven Production Planning / Scheduling experience.
• APS / ERP / MRP systems experience.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills.
• Manufacturing or supply chain background.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage production schedules.
• Ensure materials and resources are available to meet demand.
• Monitor schedule adherence and production performance.
• Improve workflow, planning efficiency and capacity utilisation.
• Resolve production issues and scheduling conflicts proactively.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
• Help reduce lead times, waste and inventory levels.
