Job summary

LJ Recruitment is seeking a highly organised Production Planner for a manufacturing operation in Herefordshire. You will plan and coordinate production to meet customer demand, optimise resource use and maintain lead times, inventory and waste control.

You will work closely with internal teams to ensure the right products are produced on time, while minimising delays and improving planning processes. A proactive approach and strong problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in production planning and scheduling.
• Experience using APS, ERP or MRP planning systems & MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan manufacturing capacity and optimise the use of available resources.

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Production Planner to join a successful manufacturing operation in Herefordshire. You'll play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently, customer requirements are met, and manufacturing resources are used to their full potential.

As Production Planner, you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating production, and balancing customer demand with available machinery, tooling, materials and personnel.

Working closely with the internal teams, you'll ensure the right products are manufactured at the right time, while keeping lead times, inventory and waste to a minimum.

Key Responsibilities
