Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Procurement Manager for a major healthcare/FM programme in the Derby area. You will lead end-to-end procurement across facilities management and healthcare categories, coordinating with operational and project teams to deliver best-value outcomes.

The role offers initial onsite work, moving to hybrid patterns with some home-based days. A strong background in category procurement, stakeholder management and supplier performance is essential.

Qualifications

• Facilities management procurement experience in healthcare environments.
• Experience procuring projects / project-led requirements, not only BAU.
• Strong supplier performance, risk and relationship management.
• Experience across category procurement (strategy, sourcing, stakeholder alignment).
• Confident in stakeholder management with operational, technical and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement across facilities management / healthcare categories.
• Deliver procurement for projects from sourcing through award.
• Support category procurement activity with value, compliance and supplier performance.
• Build tender lists, market engagement, enquiries and award recommendations.
• Drive supplier relationship management and continuous improvement.
• Partner with operations and project teams to align procurement with programme.
• Maintain visibility of procurement activity, reporting progress, risks, and savings.
