Rathbones Group in Glasgow is seeking a Portfolio Director (Team Head) to lead the portfolio management function, constructing and monitoring client portfolios for a diverse client base.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with investment teams, and ensure risk and return targets align with Rathbones' investment philosophy. This is a permanent, senior leadership role with broad impact.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of managing portfolios at scale and complexity.
• Demonstrated excellence in client service and proven contribution to business performance.
• Level 7 qualification CWM or CFA (CWM preferred)
• Experience in client administration and regulatory compliance

Responsabilités

• Using systems and tools to define and implement investment strategies based on client risk and goals.
• Define asset allocation and build client portfolios.
• Monitor markets and adjust portfolios as needed.
• Engage with investment management teams to ensure outcomes for clients.
• Mentor junior staff and lead committees as required.
• Deliver risk-adjusted performance aligned to Rathbones philosophy.
• Promote collaboration and uphold Rathbones values.
