Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Head of PMO for a major industrial manufacturing business in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on strengthening project governance, improving portfolio oversight and driving strategic programmes across a complex organisation.

You will establish and lead the PMO, develop governance frameworks, monitor delivery and provide reporting to senior leaders. Significant portfolio/programme management experience in manufacturing, with recognised qualifications, is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant portfolio, programme or project delivery experience within a complex manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong governance, financial control, and benefits realisation skills.
• Leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, PMP or equivalent advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the PMO function.
• Develop and embed project, programme and portfolio governance frameworks.
• Monitor project performance, risks, costs, benefits and dependencies.
• Support portfolio prioritisation and strategic investment decisions.
• Drive project management best practice and continuous improvement.
• Provide clear reporting and insight to senior leadership.
• Develop consistent project management processes, controls and standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to improve delivery and change.
