Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc's WPS UK in London (Cork Street) or Birmingham seeks an experienced performance management leader for a 9-month secondment. The role will own end-to-end performance management for UK Wealth, turning data into insight, decisions and action while balancing BAU with change initiatives.

You will define KPIs and OKRs, lead monthly reviews, support budgeting and business cases, and collaborate with Finance, Strategy, Intelligence and Reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into practical recommendations.
• Experience in performance management, management information, data and analytics, Finance or related field.
• Experience in performance reporting, target setting, forecasting and business reviews.
• Excellent communication skills to engage senior stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritise across competing demands and drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain KPIs, metrics and MI for UK Wealth.
• Oversee weekly sales pulse reporting and trading communications.
• Lead monthly performance reviews with insights, risks, opportunities and actions.
• Own end-to-end performance management cycle: target setting, planning, forecasting, FRP, OKRs.
• Support budgeting, VSIP discussions and business case preparation.
• Analyse trading trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Intelligence and Reporting to establish MI for new propositions.
• Gatekeep appropriate performance indicators across UK Wealth.
