Job summary

Network Rail is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for a 6-month secondment. You will work with the senior leadership across the Wales and Western region to deliver the People Plan and HR strategy, coaching leaders and implementing change while ensuring safety and delivery of results.

You'll provide proactive HR support on organisation change, talent and succession planning, salary and bonus processes, and work in a hybrid model with 60% office time.

• Strong business/commercial understanding aligned with HR
• Experience partnering with senior managers to improve people management
• Customer service orientation with impact evidence
• Knowledge of implementing HR solutions to drive performance
• Coaching and influencing senior managers
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Graduate calibre; safety culture awareness

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver the HR Strategy/People Plan including talent and change management to support business objectives.
• Build strong relationships with senior leadership; coach, advise and challenge as needed.
• Provide operational HR support on organisation change, salary and bonus processes, graduate/apprentice programmes.
• Deliver integrated people solutions that address key business objectives and gain stakeholder acceptance.
• Reinforce ownership of people management by business and line managers; support HR delivery model.
• Collaborate with Centres of Expertise and HR teams to provide best solutions; engage with Union representatives.
