Job summary

Ocean Housing Ltd in Cornwall is seeking an ambitious Performance & Insight Manager to turn data into meaningful insight, influencing strategy and improving services. This role focuses on reports, dashboards and KPIs, not data engineering; you will translate complex information into clear narratives for governance and decision-makers.

Ideal candidates will have Level 5 qualification or equivalent and strong Power BI/Excel skills, enabling confident presentation to senior leaders and boards.

Qualifications

• Experience producing and presenting performance reports, dashboards and management information.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends, root causes and emerging risks.
• Experience managing KPI frameworks, reporting standards and performance measures.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear visualisations and narratives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, able to work with senior leaders, boards and committees.
• Experience supporting governance, assurance, audit or regulatory reporting activities.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps: Power BI, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience in performance management, business intelligence, governance, risk, assurance or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging performance reports, dashboards and visualisations.
• Interpret performance data and identify trends, opportunities, emerging risks and areas for improvement.
• Maintain KPI frameworks, targets, reporting standards and data dictionaries.
• Support governance, assurance and regulatory reporting activities.
• Present performance insights confidently to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Provide independent, evidence-based challenge and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
