Job summary

Transport for Greater Manchester is seeking a Strategic People Business Partner to act as the senior People interface for an allocated function, working directly with the Exec team to provide independent, evidence-based advice and challenge.

You will translate business priorities into workforce and organisation design, lead complex change and strategic People programmes, and bring together expertise from across People teams and wider corporate functions to deliver joined-up solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior People/HR business partnering experience in a large, complex, unionised organisation.
• Experience translating business strategy into people/workforce plans and leading organisational change.
• Strong organisational design and workforce planning capability with commercial awareness, sound employment relations knowledge, and excellent communication skills.
• A relevant degree or equivalent experience, and MCIPD/FCIPD or equivalent are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice and constructive challenge to senior leaders.
• Translate business priorities into workforce, organisational design, leadership, capability, culture and colleague priorities.
• Use workforce analytics and organisational insight to identify risks and opportunities and lead complex change.
