Stockport Council is seeking an HR and OD Business Partner to drive strategic people agendas across a directorate, partnering with senior leaders to shape workforce priorities and deliver the One Team People Plan.

You will use workforce data, insights and practical solutions to influence decisions, lead culture and OD initiatives, and collaborate with cross‑Council partners to improve services for colleagues and residents.

Qualifications

• Experienced HR and OD professional with senior leadership engagement.
• Confident using data and analytics to inform workforce decisions.
• AI literacy essential to leverage emerging tech in people services.
