Job summary

Pioneering Medical Institute is seeking a People Partner to join its London-based People team. The role focuses on strategic partnering with senior leaders across diverse portfolios, including scientific research and operational functions, as the institute launches its new people strategy.

As a key member of a collaborative team, you will influence decisions, coach leaders, and drive initiatives spanning recruitment, learning and development, and broader people programmes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a People Partner or HR Business Partner.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Knowledge of HR best practice and employment law.
• Experience delivering people initiatives such as talent, succession planning or engagement.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with senior leaders across science, operations and professional teams.
• Act as a trusted coach and sounding board, providing constructive challenge and pragmatic people solutions.
• Partner with specialist People teams to deliver initiatives across talent, succession, engagement and organisational development.
• Lead and develop People Advisors, ensuring clear separation between strategic partnering and day-to-day advisory activity.
• Use people data and insight to support decision making and drive change.
• Manage complex and sensitive employee relations matters, resource planning and organisational change.
• Support new Group Leaders and laboratories joining the organisation.
• Lead People projects and identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
