Job summary

NG Bailey Group & Central in Leeds is seeking an experienced People Partner on a fixed-term contract to April 2027. The role offers up to £50,000 plus benefits and a chance to shape people strategies at senior levels.

You will partner with senior leaders, navigate complex ER matters, lead organisational change, and drive talent planning, wellbeing, and engagement to build a high-performing organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a People Partner, HR Business Partner, or Senior HR Generalist.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing complex ER cases and organisational change.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Data-driven and commercially minded approach.
• CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to deliver strategic people plans.
• Provide expert advice on complex employee relations matters.
• Lead and support organisational change, including restructures, TUPE transfers, and consultations.
• Coach managers to build leadership capability and confidence.
• Support talent, succession, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Champion performance, wellbeing, inclusion, and employee engagement.
• Use people data and insights to influence decision-making and improve outcomes.
• Contribute to key People projects through to April 2027.
