West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is seeking a People Business Partner to support directors and senior leaders in turning strategies into people plans that drive performance. You will act as a strategic advisor, shaping people responses to business challenges and embedding people considerations into planning and change activity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a strategic HR or people partnering role within a complex organisation.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and shape people responses to business challenges.
• Experience coordinating input from HR specialisms such as Employee Relations, Reward, OD and Inclusion.
• Experience supporting organisational change processes.
• Coaching to develop managers' competence and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to directorate senior leadership teams.
• Provide values-led advice to senior managers on people issues.
• Translate directorate goals into people priorities aligned with WMCA strategy.
• Support organisational change through engagement, planning and alignment.
• Influence change by embedding people priorities into business planning.
