Job summary

Phoenix Health Primary Care Network is seeking a PCN Manager in the United Kingdom to provide strategic leadership in collaboration with the Clinical Director and PCN Board. The role focuses on governance, planning, and delivering the annual work programme, while driving service improvements and collaborative working across the network.

You will translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, support board meetings, monitor progress, and help manage budgets and resources.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within Primary Care, PCNs or the wider NHS.
• Strong understanding of the PCN DES and Primary Care Network operating model.
• Knowledge of NHS governance, performance and organisational structures.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: support the Clinical Director and PCN Board in delivering strategic objectives and priorities. Translate strategic priorities into clear, deliverable actions.
• Governance and Board Support: attend and support PCN Board meetings; prepare agendas, reports and papers; ensure minutes and action plans are maintained; monitor progress against actions and decisions; maintain governance documentation, policies and risk registers.
• Leadership and Line Management: provide line management and professional support to the PCN Operations & Workforce Lead; conduct regular meetings, objective setting and appraisal discussions.
• Performance and Financial Oversight: monitor delivery against PCN objectives and contract requirements; review performance data; support oversight of budgets, funding streams and resource planning; identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
