Job summary

VC Innovations is seeking a payments-focused Business Development Manager to lead growth across the FTT Festival of Payments 2027. You will own the end-to-end development of partnerships, sponsorships and activations within the payments ecosystem, collaborating closely with the CEO and portfolio team.

Ideal candidates will understand payments and fintech, possess a robust network or the ability to build one quickly, and excel at engaging senior decision makers.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B business development or commercial roles.
• Knowledge of payments, fintech or financial services technology.
• Existing network within the payments ecosystem or ability to build one quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own business development across the payments portfolio with FTT Festival of Payments 2027 as priority.
• Build and manage a pipeline of sponsors and strategic partners.
• Develop relationships with senior marketing, partnerships, commercial and business leaders across payments ecosystem.
• Identify and approach new target accounts across payments, fintech and adjacent tech markets.
• Re-engage existing clients and grow portfolio relationships.
• Lead discovery calls to understand client objectives and priorities.
• Develop sponsorship and activation proposals tailored to objectives.
• Sell festival partnerships, content activations, hospitality, experiences and bespoke campaigns.
• Collaborate with audience, content, marketing and client success teams to craft compelling propositions.
• Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in HubSpot.
• Attend industry events and build a payments network.
• Contribute ideas for the Festival and wider payments portfolio.
