Business Development Representative - United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Telent is seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Business Development Representative to join our Sales & Marketing team within the Network Services division. The role involves building relationships within the Emergency Services, Public Sector, Government, Utilities, and Nuclear sectors. The position requires working through a Telent training plan and collaborating at least one day per week from our Warwick and Camberley offices.

Responsibilities of the BDR role include:
  • Gaining comprehensive knowledge of Telent, our offerings, and the markets we serve to educate prospects.
  • Supporting the sales pipeline by researching target accounts and key stakeholders.
  • Creating and coordinating campaigns based on territory research.
  • Performing outreach via calls, emails, social media, and creative efforts to generate interest.
  • Following up on inbound leads to convert them into meetings and opportunities.
  • Analyzing and reporting on weekly activities and pipeline efforts.
Ideal Candidate:

Resilient, driven, self-motivated, with relevant sales experience, especially outbound sales. Ability to generate and identify new leads using various business tools. Experience from other industries is welcome. A university degree or equivalent and some office experience are preferred.
