Business Development Representative in the United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Telent is looking for a driven, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking Business Development Representative to join our Sales & Marketing team within the Network Services division. The role involves building relationships within the Emergency Services, Public Sector, Government, Utilities, and Nuclear sectors. The position requires working through a Telent training plan and collaborating at our Warwick and Camberley offices at least one day per week, alternating weekly.

Responsibilities of a BDR include:

  • Gaining comprehensive knowledge of Telent's offerings and markets.
  • Supporting the sales pipeline by researching target accounts and stakeholders.
  • Creating and coordinating targeted campaigns.
  • Performing outreach via calls, emails, social media, and creative efforts to generate interest.
  • Following up on inbound leads to convert them into meetings and opportunities.
  • Analyzing and reporting on activities and pipeline efforts.

Candidate profile:

Resilient, driven, self-motivated individuals with relevant sales experience, particularly outbound sales, and the ability to generate new leads. Experience from other industries is welcomed. A university degree or equivalent is preferred, along with some office experience.
