Job summary

Oracle Project Manager – Manufacturing is a long-term contract role with a leading heavy industry manufacturer. It is primarily remote with rare travel to the US, and it carries ownership of a major Oracle transformation programme.

From the client side you will govern the project, hold the implementation consultancy to delivery standards, and ensure delivery remains on time, within budget, and to quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering multiple full lifecycle Oracle implementations.
• Manufacturing / heavy industry experience.
• Broad Oracle knowledge across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Financials, and Project Costing.
• Strong governance and executive stakeholder management experience.
• Experience managing implementation partners/consultancies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the Oracle programme end-to-end
• Review and optimise the existing Oracle solution ahead of wider group rollout
• Manage and oversee the implementation consultancy/partner
• Drive programme governance, executive reporting, and risk management
• Work closely with both senior stakeholders and operational/plant teams
• Provide hands‑on leadership across a complex, multi-year transformation
• Ensure delivery remains aligned with business objectives and programme strategy
