Job summary

British Gas, a major energy provider, is seeking a senior partner relationship professional to lead OEM partnerships, govern governance and drive growth across cross-functional teams. You will manage multi-year strategic relationships, interpret complex contracts, and deliver customer and regulatory outcomes.

This role focuses on delivering contractual commitments, optimizing performance, and guiding executive updates on opportunity realisation and risk management within a regulated energy

Qualifications

• Significant experience in relationship management within OEM or strategic partnerships.
• Proven ability to manage senior external stakeholders and multi-year commercial relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen to interpret contracts, business cases and performance data.
• Experience leading governance forums, escalations and cross-team coordination.
• Ability to identify and develop growth opportunities while safeguarding outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clear senior updates.
• Experience in regulated, service-led energy or OEM environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop OEM strategic partnerships, serving as the primary relationship lead for senior stakeholders.
• Drive partner success by delivering contractual commitments, outcomes and performance targets.
• Lead governance and regulatory oversight including reviews and risk management.
• Use insights to identify growth and value opportunities and ensure accountability.
• Develop account plans to support retention, renewal and long-term success.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver partnership outcomes.
• Provide clear, decision-ready updates to senior leadership on performance and risks.
• Support onboarding and integration of new strategic partners as the portfolio grows.
