Job summary

Newcastle University is seeking an experienced Organisational Development professional to lead university-wide OD projects. You will shape capability and capacity for our people, influence across levels, and deliver strategic OD plans aligned with the University’s Vision and Strategy.

You will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, design and evaluate initiatives across the employee lifecycle, and support leadership development and culture change while working in a

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and delivering across a broad spectrum of organisational development and learning interventions.
• Track record of leading and managing projects in complex organisations, with a proven ability to deliver on cost, quality and time requirements.
• Experience in designing and delivering leadership, management development and coaching interventions at various levels.
• Experience designing and delivering team development interventions and building collective leadership capability.
• Experience of facilitating change and improving organisational culture through development initiatives.
• Proven ability to influence across stakeholders and support data-informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape University-wide OD projects with People Services and other units.
• Design, deliver and evaluate OD and learning initiatives across the colleague lifecycle.
• Develop strategic OD plans using data-informed insights and values.
• Embed the University values in all development activities and communications.
• Line manage and support members of the OD team and deputise for senior staff.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.
