Job summary

Google's Strategic Negotiation team secures critical infrastructure from underwater cables to data center space to power products and services worldwide. As a Strategic Negotiator, you’ll apply deep market knowledge and telecom sector experience to negotiate cost-effective deals, manage vendor relationships, and present recommendations to our Tech leadership, driving savings and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience negotiating and structuring agreements or leading business development.
• Experience in strategic negotiations within Europe telecommunications infrastructure sector, including collocation data centers and fiber networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key commercial partners including telecommunications companies, network carriers and colocation operators for asset acquisition, network penetration, and Cloud partnerships.
• Cultivate and grow relationships with vendors and partners to facilitate on-time, high-quality contracts and orders.
• Negotiate and implement commercial frameworks for predictable, efficient delivery of assets to meet Google's portfolio of products and services.
• Identify, evaluate and acquire metro fiber, long haul dark fibre assets, colocation services.
• Work with planning, tax, policy, legal, and treasury to identify cost-effective solutions and optimal commercial frameworks.
