Job summary

GCS Associates, a leading supplier of construction products, is seeking a National Account Director to lead major projects and infrastructure accounts across London and the South East.

You will manage 10-12 major contractor accounts, develop strategic plans, and drive revenue across infrastructure and civil engineering opportunities, collaborating with procurement and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in major national and Tier 1 contractor relationships.
• Experience operating within major construction, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop strategic relationships with major national and Tier 1 main contractors across London and the South East.
• Identify and secure commercial opportunities across major infrastructure, civil engineering and large-scale construction projects.
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers, including procurement directors, commercial directors, project teams and supply chain management.
• Develop strategic account plans to increase market share, strengthen customer engagement and maximise revenue.
• Engage with customers throughout the project lifecycle, from early-stage planning and procurement through to project delivery.
• Work closely with internal commercial, technical and operational teams to deliver comprehensive solutions for key customers.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and develop long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
• Monitor project pipelines, market developments and major construction programmes to identify future opportunities.
