Job summary

USTBC ABB Installation Products Inc. is seeking a Material Planning Team Leader to oversee end-to-end inventory planning, including safety stock, lead times, and replenishment strategies.

You will coordinate with operations buyers, services, and suppliers to ensure timely purchase orders and optimal stock levels. The role is hybrid at Stonehouse with one day per week remote, and you will drive improvements in planning processes.

Qualifications

• Proven materials management and purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP)
• Proficient in Excel
• Inventory management
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Mindset to innovate, take ownership, drive improvement

Responsibilities

• Defining inventory policies based on specified segmentation.
• Calculating and maintaining the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPs.
• Coordinating material planning with call-offs to ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders in collaboration with operations buyers and services.
• Collaborating with buyers to achieve the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, Minimum Order Quantity, quality, lead time, and flexibility
