Job summary

SF Partners is hiring a Senior Materials Planner in Nottingham. You will manage material planning across the UK, ensuring right products are available on time while maintaining stock and driving efficiency.

You will liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth communication across the supply chain and participate in new product launches and end-of-life planning. You will lead continuous improvement across planning and supply chain operations, shaping processes and driving data-led

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in materials, supply chain, or inventory control.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP is required.
• Confident in managing supplier relationships and collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply vs demand to achieve strong service levels and product availability.
• Lead forecasting for new products and promotional activity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes.
• Coach and mentor MRP Controllers to embed best practice.
• Manage stock levels and replenishment in line with budgets.
• Communicate stock shortages with customer service teams.
• Design and implement MRP processes, policies, and controls.
• Optimise SAP MRP parameters and master data for accuracy.
• Provide visibility of stock, orders and in-transit materials.
• Support S&OP processes with insights alongside commercial teams.
• Monitor KPIs such as OTIF, stock availability and lead times.
• Collaborate across sales, procurement, manufacturing and finance.
