ZEISS is seeking an experienced Material Planner for Cambourne, Cambridge, operating in a hybrid model. You will manage material planning across products, review forecasts, and collaborate with Purchasing, Production and Logistics to ensure material availability while optimising inventory.

Ideal candidates have strong MRP knowledge, ERP experience (SAP), and excellent analytical and stakeholder-management skills to support complex, high-value products within a global technology leader.

Qualificações

• Experience in manufacturing or technical production environments.
• Strong understanding of MRP and material planning.
• Experience using SAP or a similar ERP/MRP system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing inventory, shortages and material availability.

Responsabilidades

• Manage material planning across products and planning areas.
• Review demand forecasts and production requirements for material availability.
• Monitor MRP outputs and flag shortages or risks.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production and Logistics to resolve material issues.
• Support inventory optimisation and working capital goals.
• Manage material requirements through product introductions and changes.
• Analyze planning data for improvements.
• Support a proactive, collaborative planning environment.
