Job summary

McCormick & Company in the United Kingdom seeks a Material Planner to lead long-term material planning across the UK network. You will own the materials portfolio, balance service levels with cash targets, and coordinate with NPD, procurement and supply to ensure a well-governed monthly planning cycle.

The role requires a degree in supply chain, experience in planning (preferably in food/FMCG), advanced Excel, and SAP MM/MRP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related business field.
• Experience in a planning role in production or warehouse settings (food/FMCG preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP familiarity (SAP MM/MRP).
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio of materials planning across the UK network.
• Balance service levels with cash targets and manage inventory levels.
• Collaborate with NPD, procurement, and supply to ensure a governed monthly planning cycle.
• Identify capacity or supply gaps from long-term plans and adjust inventory strategy.
• Lead regional availability management and communicate with stakeholders.
• Develop long-term material requirements with suppliers and secure monthly capacity.
• Interface with strategic suppliers to drive value creation and continuity plans.
• Establish and monitor Service Level agreements with key suppliers.
