Portable Foods Manufacturing Company Limited is seeking a highly organised Material Planner & Stock Controller to ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials for production. You will manage inventory levels, drive supplier performance, and improve logistics processes while working in a fast-paced planning team.

The role requires strong SAP experience, excellent analytical skills, and effective communication across levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in Material Planning and stock control.
• Strong SAP experience is essential.
• Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail.
• Strong numerical and analytical capability.
• Effective communicator and team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with inventory management and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Run and action SAP MRP exception messages (min three times per week).
• Execute daily reports to ensure deliveries align with PO schedules.
• Produce weekly outstanding orders by supplier reports and monitor confirmations.
• Coordinate with suppliers on ordering, delivery schedules and issue resolution.
• Review suggested future orders and convert to purchase orders.
• Collaborate with European Procurement on contracts and issues.
• Maintain SAP data, including material masters.
• Manage ordering of raw materials, packaging and ad-hoc items.
• Keep inventory within targets and identify reduction opportunities.
• Conduct monthly audits of sensitive materials and stock rotation.
• Handle obsolete materials and cost recovery actions.
• Review slow-moving stock and take corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement in material scheduling, delivery and warehousing.
• Maintain communication with Inbound Logistics; participate in supplier visits and audits.
• Support cross-functional projects and ad-hoc initiatives; attend meetings.
• Uphold safety, environmental, quality and food safety standards.
